The colour is often dragged through a battlefield of negativity in the fashion world before reaching its currently level of acceptance (even though there is still some stigma around wearing pink). Pink wasn’t always a girly colour, it was only in the western world in the 20th century that it became know that girls wear pink and boys wear blue. Back in the 18th Century it was perfectly natural for a male to be seen wearing a pastel suit even with a floral addition.
This colour is typically a softer colour, its best paired with a very basic palette. For lighter colours, white and greys will compliment your outfit. If you are feeling very confident, you can even add in some pastel colours if you’re feeling really confident. Black colours can give off a striking contrast to your ensemble.
